The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education has recently increased its monitoring of the fiscal requirements under Title I, Part A. This session will review the key fiscal requirements found in Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, including supplement not supplant, allocations, rank and serve, and comparability. The session will provide an overview of each requirement, as well as describe how grantees must test for compliance. In addition, presenters will provide any recent updates on these requirements from the U.S. Department of Education, such as new guidance or recent relevant monitoring findings and provide information on how you can avoid similar findings.
