The Inland Empire/Desert Regional Consortium requested the Brustein and Manasevit PLLC firm in Washington D.C., conduct a webinar on Perkins V and the accompanying administrative and cost rules in EDGAR/UGG. Michael Brustein and Steven Spillan are the national experts on the federal law. We have confirmed March 4 from 9:00 to Noon for the session, and it will be open to all the California Community Colleges to register and be provided their direct link to their BigMarker platform.
The session will focus on the major shifts in Perkins V to improving the performance for the nine special populations, redirecting Perkins funds in the July 1, 2022 budget and local application to reducing the performance disparities between special population students and non-special population CTE students based on the results of the second CLNA, the expanded list of allowable costs under Perkins V, periods of performance as revised by the new UGG, allocability rules impacted by Covid, the federal funding going forward including ESSER and HEERF funds, revised U.S. Education Department policies on recording time and effort, new flexibilities on procurement, and how to best calculate administrative and indirect costs under Perkins. If you have questions on the federal law, this is the time to get them answered.
The cost of the webinar is $195 and that includes the recording. Any district registering 10 or more will receive a 20% discount. The firm will reduce the price of the EDGAR book to $35 which includes shipping/handling. If you have any questions relating to registration or the EDGAR books, please email Evelyn Sanchez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
