Blake Hite joined The Bruman Group, PLLC in January of 2025. Mr. Hite assists clients with federal grants management requirements under the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Grants Guidance (UGG) and the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR).
Prior to law school, Mr. Hite served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where his work included teaching medical courses and preparing hospital staff for compliance audits. Mr. Hite continued his public service while attending law school at night, working first as a Wounded Warrior Fellow for the Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico, where he was assigned the Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs portfolio, and then later with a federal loan program at the Environmental Protection Agency. As a law student, Mr. Hite was a clinical student attorney at the Harrison Institute for Public Law and externed for the Natural Resources Defense Council’s litigation team and the Georgetown University Health Justice Alliance’s Cancer LAW team.
Mr. Hite received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in 2017 and then concurrently pursued a Master of Science ('22) and Juris Doctor (‘24). Upon completion of his J.D., he received the Joyce E. Chiang Memorial Award for Public Service, an Associate Dean’s Award for Excellence in Clinic, and a Special Pro Bono Pledge Recognition.
